Josh Joffen is a Long Island-based singer-songwriter whose songs are, by turns, rousing, funny, poetic and insightful — blending modern and traditional folk and jazz influences with a rich palette of guitar ja, and open tunings.

With his warm, welcoming stage presence, Josh is equally at home before large and intimate audiences. He has performed at numerous clubs, coffeehouses and festivals. His most recent album, Postcard From Antiguais a lyrical travelogue with songs set in locales from the Caribbean and the Middle East to his native New York. Moss hails from Peoria, IL and began his musical journey playing cello and singing in various formats at a very young age.

After earning a degree in cello performance mdlissa the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaignhe moved to Austin, TX in and immersed himself in the music scene there for a number of years before relocating to New York. Besides performing as a solo artist yeckscher with his twin brother, Adam, he continues his cello career playing and composing with The Blue Hit, Ana Egge, Moishe Circus and Satellite Ballet, among others. An award-winning, New York City-born and bred performing songwriter, Carolann Solebello is best known to folk audiences as a founding member of the Americana trio Red Molly.

She now tours as both a solo artist and with the modern folk quartet No Fuss and Feathers. What he is now is one hell of a songwriter, guitarist, singer, and performer. The New England-based good-time harmony, string and groove band serves up a musical gumbo of folk, progressive bluegrass, country blues, jazz and swing.

But what really sets this band apart is its members connection — to each other, to the audience, and to the music.

She has played in venues all along the East Coast and has been making her mark on the greater New York-area music scene over the last decade.

Connor Garvey – Portland, Maine-based singer songwriter Connor Garvey describes his music as acoustic funky folk-rock for the good-hearted. His initiation as a modern troubadour came inby train, on a day self-booked cross-country tour via Amtrak.

His understanding of the many strains of the blues is as complete as that of musicians two or three times his age. Along the way, he has collaborated and recorded with the likes of Hardin, John Sebastian and Artie Traum, and he shared the stage with performers ranging from Jacques Brel.

Originally from Georgia, he began singing and playing several instruments as a child. He counts Paul Simon and Harry Nilsson among his early musical influences.

Moves to Kentucky and Virginia and stints in several regional bands allowed him to hone his skill in writing powerful story songs that lyrically and melodically illustrate the variety of human emotions. Drawing upon the richness of American folk music traditions, the signature power of The Stray Birds sound lies in outstanding songwriting that soars in three-part harmony. Raised on music within a few miles of farmland from each other, The Stray Birds were born of a compelling collaboration between two unique writers and vocalists– the pure, luxurious voice of Maya de Vitry and Oliver Craven’s richness of tone geckscher depth of delivery.

Jerry DeMeo is a Huntington-based singer-songwriter and guitarist with an expressive singing voice, engaging guitar work and ebullient stage presence. Drawing his guitar-playing influences from artists such as Leo Kottke, Stephen Stills and Jorma Kaukonen, Jerry performs original material along with an impressive array of covers — meliswa marked with his own individual imprint. Currently touring in support of his new album, Another Life, the raspy-voiced crooner and guitarist will be joined by keyboardist Oli Rockberger.

In a career that now melidsa two decades, New York duo Pete and Maura Kennedy have traversed a broad musical landscape, surveying power pop, acoustic songwriting, organic rock rooted in their early days in Austin, and a Byrds-inspired jangle that drew the attention of Roger McGuinn, Steve Earle, and most notably Nanci Griffith.

Always tuned to their own muse, Pete and Maura have once again come up with a unique sound that is as uplifting as it is unclassifiable. Joe Crookston an Ohio native now residing in Ithaca, NY, has been developing a reputation as an energetic, charismatic and jao engaging live performer. He was among the artists voted “Most Wanted to Return” during the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in upstate New York and wowed attendees in with a mix of his own lyrically compelling, narrative-style songs and choice covers including a solo acoustic version of Supertramp’s “The Logical Song” — much as he did during the Falcon Ridge Mwlissa Tour”s concert in Centerport earlier that year.

A serious craftsman, Crookston has heeded his father’s advice to work with his hands and heart in metal and wood. Joe Crookston also has been a finalist in several prestigious national songwriting contests. Fred Newland and Cliff Miller are two Melkssa Island-based singer-songwriters and instrumentalists who have been playing music kochaa since their junior high school days in Seaford. During the late s and early s, they were a fixture on the local music scene, and also worked with worked with Michael Lang of Woodstock fame and Charlie Colello, a musical arranger heckscer Barbra Streisand and the Four Seasons, among others.

She plays jazz, jump jive, Latin grooves, swing, international folk, and funk originals on anything from the piano to the spoons. Her music is upbeat, amusing and perfect for all ages. While at once settling listeners off balance with her quirky spin on things, she sneaks in simple, potent messages, leaving audiences worn out and inspired.

Reinventing herself in retirement, the Huntington resident has gone from being an educator and therapist to a singer-songwriter with a rapier wit and a surprisingly contemporary mellissa.

At this concert, she celebrates the release of her second album, 20th Century Girl that features 16 of her original songs. Rebecca Pronsky is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter whose musical style combines elements of country and folk with jazz and alternative influences to create a twangy urban-folk sound that highlights her sophisticated and poetic lyrics.
